About this Episode

On the Spot aims to showcase relatable women who have blazed the trail in order to help you walk your own path to success. In celebration of International Women's day, we have invited Sheila Ronning, the founder of Women in the Boardroom, an organization that makes sure women have a seat at the table by providing a customizing step-by-step approach to getting on your 1st, 2nd or 3rd corporate board!

How can women overcome the confidence gap and become successful entrepreneurs?

In this episode of On the Spot, tune in to listen to Sheila drop some hot tips and words of wisdom about how women can succeed and empower themselves.

“When we stop learning and growing, then we’re dying. You cannot stay the same. You are either learning and growing or you are dying!”

Everyone defines success differently. Sheila defines success as being able to what you absolutely love. As an entrepreneur, she started her first business in 1996, and in 2002, Sheila wanted a business that was all about helping to advance women, which is when she founded Women in the Boardroom.
