About this Episode

After experiencing a pretty devastating let-down herself, Becca started seriously thinking about failure. Why do so many successful people typically suffer a significant failure first? Becca knew there had to be a correlation between failure and success, and she set out to get to the bottom of it.

In her research, she discovered that the way we think about failure can hugely affect our decision making. If we view failure as such a terrible, un-speakable thing, it becomes something we want to avoid at all costs. But if we view failure as base for learning from our mistakes, we can grow and get closer to achieving our goals.

Becca believes that everyone should talk about failure more often to remove the stigma. In her book, "Your Hidden Superpowers: How the Whole Truth of Failure Can Change Our Lives" she combines her research and interviews to change the reader's way of thinking and help maximize their potential.
