About this Episode

Before becoming an entrepreneur, Marla worked in marketing for over 12 years. During this time, she would consistently find herself taking skills she learned from the job and applying them to new problem-solving situations. This out-of-the-box thinking is what eventually led her to starting her first company, Like A Boss Girl: a network for women to find opportunities and build their careers through community and inspiration.

It wasn't long after that Marla caught the podcasting bug, and realized she could inspire others with an interview podcast featuring successful women. This got her thinking, what could she do to help other women podcasters achieve their goals? The answer was simple: Help them make money.

Soon, Like A Boss Girls was rebranded to become the Ossa Collective: an online community that amplifies the message of female influencers while providing creators with an opportunity to connect with brands.
