About this Episode

Three jobs, endless determination, and the passion to achieve your goals—moguls aren’t just men. Moguls are women, too.

Tune in to today's episode of On the Spot and follow Tiffany's inspirational journey towards founding Mogul and how through endless determination and persistence, her work has impacted the lives of many women.

As a child, Tiffany moved from Paris, France to Texas because her parents wanted her to have more opportunities. Through consuming American media, Tiffany was able to improve her English and learn many other things, which led to her realizing how powerful media can be as a tool for learning and education.

The catalyst for her journey was the passing of her beloved grandmother, her number one role model.

[4:10] >“I made a promise to her that I would do everything I could to follow in her footsteps, and I would dedicate my life to providing for others in need with information and opportunities just as she had."

There is a lack of confidence that needs to be overcome in order to seize opportunities. Tiffany learned how to do just that.

[32:13] >"It's fine if you're not perfect at the beginning. You will be perfected over time, or whatever you're working on will be perfect over time. Fail forward because so long as you’re learning, you’re succeeding.”

Check out her books You Are a Mogul: How to Do the Impossible, Do It Yourself, and Do It Now and Girl Mogul: Dream It. Do It. Change the World, both available for purchase on Amazon.
